Recently we introduced proven classics that you can cook from minced meat, and this time we will give you new tips that will also become your favorites.
We brought back several new minced meat recipes from overseas holidays. Although it is a classic for other nations, for us it is still something new and unseen. Here’s how you can surprise your family with Scotch eggs.
If you want to have them in the original version, so that after cutting there is a liquid slimy in the middle, you have to prepare them with steam. Put just enough water in the pot to come halfway up the shell. Let it boil and only then add the eggs. Cover the pot with a lid and steam for six minutes. Then quickly cool them with cold water and clean.
Season the minced meat with your favorite spices. In the classic version, a little garlic, salt, black pepper and nutmeg are enough. Mix everything well, make a patty out of it and cover the egg with it. Then wrap it in triple wrap, fry it and cut it in half lengthwise before serving.
Everyone knows souvlaki, but soutzoukakia is an equally popular Greek dish. Its basis is minced meat, to which you can optionally add vegetables cut into small pieces.
It tastes good with mushrooms, pumpkins, fresh peppers or olives. Mix everything together, add egg, salt, pepper, garlic, oregano and old bread that you grind together with the meat. Form it into balls or meatballs, which you place on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven.
Sauté canned tomatoes on an onion-garlic base, add salt, pepper, fresh herbs and wine. Boil the sauce for ten minutes and then put in small meatballs. Boil it together for another 10 minutes and you can serve.
Hamburgers have been a big hit in recent years. They are prepared in various ways, but the most important thing is that you make a great patty of minced meat in them, which complements the other ingredients perfectly.
In the original version, it is made from beef, but you can also use a mixture with pork or lamb. Unlike meatballs, don’t add breadcrumbs, egg or even mustard to them. Just season it with salt, pepper or some herbs.
Bake the hamburger on the grill or grill pan and you can serve it with a bun and any ingredients.
Rolls for minced meat
Sometimes try to change and instead of a classic roll, prepare at least one of minced meat.
First season it well and add egg to it. Then form it on the sheet into a square shape. Cover it with ham and cheese, make a mixture of feta, olives and herbs or spread sun-dried tomatoes and capers. Now start rolling the roll a little at a time, always pressing it a little to hold it together. Transfer it to a baking tray, brush it with beaten egg and you can bake it.
Balls baked with tomatoes and mozzarella
This recipe is inspired by Italian gastronomy. We could easily call them a more modern version of our tomato balls.
Season the minced meat with garlic, spices, dry herbs, which will improve it, and add to it an egg and some breadcrumbs. Mix everything well, form small balls and lightly fry them in oil.
Move them to a baking tray, cover with two cans of sliced tomatoes, season with vinegar, salt and pepper. Tear mozzarella on top and bake in the oven like this. The balls are delicious with pasta.
Who does not love the most classic spaghetti with minced meat? You can prepare pasta with your favorite bologna sauce very easily, but you have to pay attention to the quality of the ingredients.
Some people put bacon in the base, in other regions they just heat olive oil and fry onions, garlic and root vegetables cut into small pieces. Now add the minced pork to the pot, mix everything and fry. Pour the mixture twice with red wine and let it boil. Then add canned tomatoes, broth, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Boil everything until completely soft and you can serve.
Put the spaghetti on a plate, pour a large amount of sauce over it and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

You can also make lasagna from the same sauce. Pour the bolognese into the bottom of the baking dish and place the first layer of pasta on top of it. Then add the sauce that you pour with bechamel and shreds of fresh mozzarella. Layer in this manner all the way to the top of the baking dish, when you cover everything with the last generous dose of sauce, which you sprinkle with parmesan. Put it in the oven and serve great delicacy.
Stuffed pumpkin or eggplant
The advantage of these recipes is that everyone can prepare them according to their own imagination. The important thing is to combine the taste of minced meat with the pulp of pumpkin and eggplant.
Hollow out the vegetables and cut the center into small pieces. Add oil to the pan and when it is hot, fry the meat with the pulp in it. You can add, for example, olives, mushrooms, capers, corn, dried tomatoes, bacon or anything else you can find in the fridge or pantry. Add the finished mixture to the zucchini and eggplants, sprinkle cheese on top and bake in the oven.
Skewers with minced meat
The simple version of this recipe looks like živánska, but basically you can make any kind of shish kebab this way. This time season the minced meat in the same way as if you were making a sausage. Thanks to this, it will stand out more and will be tastier.
Then form it into firm balls, which you will little by little stick on a needle together with potatoes, a piece of bacon and your favorite vegetables. Then marinate the skewers in oil with herbs and you can grill or bake in the oven.
Tacos with minced meat
Mexican tacos are a rewarding food precisely because you can constantly reinvent them in some new form. They are also very popular with minced meat, seasoned with spices and fried in a pan together with onions. Add to it, for example, corn, peas or other vegetables.
Then take the tacos, put the vegetable mixture on the bottom, top it with fresh tomato and pepper and sprinkle the top with herbs.
