This is your favorite recipe for the famous meatballs with gravy

Meatballs with sauce

For 6 portions we will need:

1 kg minced meat mixture 4 cloves of garlic
1 KL ground nutmeg 2 smaller eggs
1 KL ground black pepper 1 handful of chopped parsley
2 KL salt 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
2 small onions oil

Ingredients for the sauce:

3 tablespoons of butter 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
3PL plain flour 250 ml of cream
1L beef broth salt, black pepper, a pinch of nutmeg

First, mix the minced meat in a bowl. Add finely chopped onion, crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, nutmeg and a handful of parsley. Mix well to combine the flavors. At the end, mix two smaller eggs and breadcrumbs.

We form small balls from the prepared mass. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the balls on all sides until golden. Let’s keep it warm and prepare the sauce.


Add butter to the pastry balls and let it melt. Carefully mix the flour and pour the beef broth, stirring constantly. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, nutmeg, lemon juice and cook for approximately 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. At the end, add the cream, let it boil on low heat and serve.

We serve the balls with potatoes, cranks and pour soft sauce on them. Good appetite.
